Welcome to CvSU Syllabus Planner (the "Website"). By accessing or using our website, tools, and services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

CvSU Syllabus Planner provides an online tool to help teachers draft syllabus-friendly weekly course plans (the "Service"). The Service is currently provided for free and "as-is."

2. University context

This tool is intended to assist Cavite State University (CvSU) teachers in drafting and refining syllabi. Unless explicitly stated, this is not an official CvSU system and does not represent the University.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain ownership of the data, text, and information you input, and the syllabus drafts generated from it ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and display this content only as necessary to provide the Service to you.
• Our Property: The Website’s design, code, branding, and original features are the exclusive property of the Website owner/creator. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Website without written permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party intellectual property.
• Attempt to disrupt the Website’s security or gain unauthorized access to our servers.
• Use automated scripts (bots) to scrape data from the Website.

5. Data Storage & Privacy

• Local Storage: The Website may use browser local storage to save drafts and progress. If you clear your browser cache or local storage, your data may be lost. We are not responsible for the loss of any content stored locally on your device.
• Privacy: Use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data to third parties.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• "As-Is" Basis: The Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the syllabus drafts generated are suitable for any specific purpose.
• No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, CvSU Syllabus Planner and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data) arising from your use of the tool.

7. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms.
